Austin and his wife Lindsay have one daughter, Ashton. Austin is a Northwestern State University (NSU) and NSU BCM alum and a New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary graduate. Austin joined the BCM staff as Director in July 2023. Austin spent 2 years with the Texas Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) as BSM Director at Amarillo College and BSM Associate Director at West Texas A&M University. Austin absolutely loves working with students, helping them know God and make Him Known! While away from ministry at BCM, Austin enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and playing or watching sports, especially the LSU Tigers.
