Continue the Connection

Alumni & Parents

Now that you have finished college, you may be wondering how you can still keep your connection with the BCM. Possibly your child is now headed out to college orientation and you want them to get involved in the BCM. How do you encourage them to get involved? Maybe your kid wants to go on an out-of-country mission trip and you have questions! We are here to answer these questions and more!

There are several ways you can be involved as an Alumni or Parent. First, please be sure to fill out the Alumni Connect Card with your information and join our LSUA BSU/BCM Alumni Facebook group so that we can keep you up to date. Second, we ask that you remember us in your prayers as we are on campus daily sharing the Good News of the Gospel! Third, college students like to eat (a lot)! You can always help us by providing food for one of our events. Fourth, the ministry relies on donations for daily operations and ministry events. Would you prayerfully consider giving financially so that the ministry may continue?

Alumni

For Alumni, the BCM/BSU has meant so much to so many. I pray that as you recall memories from this ministry you remember a time of spiritual growth in your life. As an alumni, you will forever be linked to the ministry here at LSUA. Take the time to fill out the Alumni Connect Card  and join the LSUA BSU/BCM Alumni Facebook group so that we can keep you connected to how the Lord is using the BCM, and please share your BCM/BSU stories with us!

As you recall all the great memories of the BCM/BSU, remember that those memories were made possible by the gifts of the Alumni before you. Would you prayerfully consider giving financially so that memories like yours are possible for students today?

Parents

For Parents, sending your child off to college can be a scary thing. Here is a story from someone just like you:

"After 25 Years of serving as a BCM Director on several campuses, I have finally had the opportunity to experience the impact of Baptist Collegiate Ministry as a parent. My oldest son and daughter were both involved in BCM’s in our state and had an incredible experience. From vision expanding experiences through a mission trip to New York to daily relationships with staff and others students they have been blessed. As a parent, what encourages me most is the type of guidance and discipleship my kids receive through the BCM ministry. Both found churches in the cities they love. Both had weekly small groups and enjoy the large group worship experiences. I want to take this opportunity to thank Louisiana Baptist for investing in our future through Baptist Collegiate Ministry!"

Mark Robinson

Louisiana State BCM Director

Please encourage your students to get involved in the BCM. Also would you prayerfully consider giving financially so that the ministry may continue to help students grow spiritually!
